Who we are

We are Emscote Arden Solutions FZC, trading as Register Labs. We provide blockchain enabled business applications on the Canton network. We act as a controller for the personal data we collect about visitors, prospects and users of our site and services. When we provide our apps to customers we usually act as a processor, because our customers decide what to upload and who can see it.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website, when you contact us, when you log in to our apps, and when we provide support. It does not cover the documents and files your organisation stores in its own AWS S3 bucket. Your organisation controls that data.

What we collect

Contact details, name, work email, company, role.

Account information, username or login ID, role, audit events linked to your account.

Technical data, IP address, device and browser type, pages or API endpoints accessed, time and date.

Support and billing data, messages you send us, wallet address for digital asset payments, subscription information.

What we do not want

We do not want special category data. We do not want payment card numbers. We do not want national insurance numbers, passports or health data. If you send that to us by mistake, we may delete it.

Why we collect it

To provide the apps and services you or your employer have asked for.

To secure our services, including issuing pre signed URLs and keeping audit logs.

To contact you about your account, support issues, service updates or billing.

To meet our legal and regulatory duties, including sanctions and AML screening where needed.

Lawful bases

We rely on performance of a contract where we are providing the service to you or your employer.

We rely on legitimate interests where we monitor, log and secure the service.

We rely on consent only where we have asked for it.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us deliver the service, for example email delivery, logging and monitoring, Canton participant or observer operators. We only share the minimum needed.

Group or successor companies if we merge or sell the business.

Authorities or regulators where the law requires it.

International transfers

We are based in the UAE. If you are in the UK or the EEA this means your personal data may be transferred outside your country. Where we do this we will use the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK IDTA or another mechanism allowed by law.

How long we keep it

Account and audit data, for as long as you have an account and for up to six years afterwards.

Security and access logs, for at least ninety days.

Marketing enquiries, for up to two years.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can object to some processing. Where we process data on instructions from your employer we may ask you to contact them first.
